Wednesday nights 6 - 7:30 PM Sept. - April What is AWANA? Children are encouraged to participate in games and memorize Scripture. They are taught about Jesus and how to live a Christian life. Each Awana ministry is divided into three general areas: Game time— Children enjoy interactive games, created around the Awana game circle. Handbook time— Trained leaders work with small groups of clubbers assisting them in memorizing Bible verses and other learning activities. Children earn Awana shares and awards for passing sections in their handbooks. Clubbers usually save their Awana shares and use them to purchase some great toys or prizes from the Awana store. Counsel time— During Counsel time, your child is exposed to a message or object lesson from an adult that is Bible based. Our goal is to equip them with a faith that will guide them through the challenges and decisions of the teen years and beyond. Of course, we also believe in having fun! Whether it is through games, group activities, or just hanging out with friends, our ministry provides a safe, welcoming space where students can be themselves and grow in community. Whether it's through group discussions, social events, or simply hanging out, we foster an environment where lasting friendships are built. Through these experiences, students learn what it means to live out their faith, showing Christ’s love in practical ways. We’re passionate about helping students discover the joy of serving, build lasting relationships with their peers, and gain a bigger vision of what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Join us as we make a difference and grow in faith through outreach and mission work!
