Our Response to the Coronavirus Outbreak

A Message from Pastor Terry

At Twin Oaks we are very concerned for those being affected by COVID-19. We pray for those who are sick, those who are responsible for making important decisions, and for those whose lives are being drastically affected.

In order to help us in our spiritual walk at this time, we are posting messages on YouTube under Terry Covey. In addition, daily devotionals are being posted by Pastor Terry on his blog ‘Seeds of Faith.’

We are also developing a list of Ministry Opportunities that will enable us to serve our community. As someone recently said, “It’s time for us to stop talking about going to church and start being the church.” To the right is a list of current ministry opportunities.

Because we are unable to meet together on a regular basis, your continued financial support is very important. You may give on-line, drop off your contributions at the church office Mondays and Fridays (8 am till noon) or send by mail to Twin Oaks Baptist Church, 2313 Henry Rd., Ferrum, VA 24088. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Pastor Terry and the Deacons are always available to help you in any way. Please contact us at: 540-365-6312.

Prayer for Susan Ingram

Susan Ingram’s surgery went well. Please continue to pray as she recovers.

In order to help be a blessing to others at this time, we are asking our members to donate various non-perishable items. You may drop off your donated items Monday or Friday mornings at the church (8 am till noon), or with Bev and Robin Whitmer who will be in the parking lot near McDonald’s in Rocky Mount on Saturday, March 28 from 10 am till 11 am.

Items needed:

Spaghettio, ravioli, cereal, pop tarts, nabs, boxed Mac n cheese, baking mixes (muffins, brownies), canned soup and crackers, box pizza mix, juice boxes, granola bars, fruit snacks, graham crackers, and teddy grahams.
